McKenzie MDT Overview Course
This page provides access to the free MDT Overview Course for clinicians just beginning to explore the benefits of The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. This free course is designed to provide a very broad overview to better understand the principles of the McKenzie Method.
IMPORTANT: The MDT Overview Course is NOT the same as the online prerequisite component (Session 1) for either the Part A or Part B course. If you are registered for a Part A or B course, please make your way to the ONLINE COURSE ACCESS page under the Educational Programs tab to begin Session 1 of the Part A or B course. Access to Session 1 is only available to clinicians registered on a course. The MDT Overview course will not fulfill the prerequisite requirement for the Part A or B course.

- LOG IN with your McKenzie Institute online community profile or SIGN UP now.
- Before registering, insure your system supports the necessary system requirements indicated, and read and accept the 'Terms of Use' where provided – there are no refunds for online courses.
- Be sure you are using an updated web browser with 'COOKIES ENABLED' to allow for Javascript Pop-Ups, and insure that you have Adobe Acrobat PDF viewer. To verify, please RUN THIS SYSTEM CHECK.
NOTES & TIPS:
- With the test component at the end, the MDT Overview course is an excellent tool for students and universities to use as an extra credit task or simply to enhance a curriculum.
- Online video is dependent on bandwidth available from your Internet service provider. During times of high traffic, the video may glitch or freeze. This should correct itself within a matter of seconds. For the same reason, downloading documents may also take longer depending on the speed of your connection, computer or Internet traffic.
- If you leave your computer idle for longer than 20 minutes, you will need to login again. A pop-up window will prompt you to re-enter your login. This is primarily for the protection of your account and security of our programs.
