This course is CONFIRMED. Eligibility: Level A or higher. This is a 4-day course. This course does not have an online component. Approximately 2 or 3 lumbar and 3 lower extremity patients will be assessed and treated during this course. Refreshments during break periods will be supplied. Lunch will be at your own expense. Registering early does not mean paying early. Register early and reserve your place on the course. Payments for the course are processed 4 weeks prior to the course date. Parking is available for free at the venue. The schedule will be advised shortly.

Course Outline includes: Centralization of pain and recovery of function, Exercises not taken far enough vs. inadequate time for reduction, Patient instructions and exercises performed 'actively', Extension and flexion principles, Extension in the presence of a lateral shift, Adherent nerve root, sacroiliac and hip joints, Design and apply appropriate MDT management for patients presenting with extremity symptoms, Technique practice and clinician confidence, Patient demonstration, analysis and discussion. The course material is based on the 2 textbooks: The Lumbar Spine Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy, 2nd Edition, by Robin McKenzie and Stephen May and The Human Extremities - Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy, 1st Edition, by Robin McKenzie and Stephen May, both of which are available from www.thephysiostore.com or www.cardonrehab.com . In addition, prior to the course, we would recommend you review your Part A course notes and take the MDT Comprehension Self-test Part A.
