Eligibility: This course is open to clinicians with completion of only Part A or completion of both Parts A&B. Course sessions are not recorded.

This course consists of 4 sessions. Please see the schedule below. The course times noted are in EASTERN TIME. Please adjust for your local time zone.

ONLINE Session 1: Complete on your own, must be completed 2 days before Session 2. Approximately 7 hours to complete.
ONLINE Session 2: 01DEC (MON) 3:00pm–8.15pm ET, live instruction with the instructor. This session is not recorded.
ONLINE Session 3: 06DEC (SAT) 9:00am-5:15pm ET
ONLINE Session 4: 07DEC (SUN) 9:00am-5.15pm ET

Registrants will require an adult asymptomatic practice (patient) model for 2 hours during Session 3. The tentative time for the practice model will be from 1.30pm - 3.30pm Eastern Time. Please adjust accordingly for your local time zone. The practice patient model can be a friend, a family member or a work colleague.

This course will include 2 hours of homework between Sessions 2 and 3.

AUDIT SPECIAL:

The special audit rate applies on this course for clinicians that have previously taken Part C. The special audit rate is $295.00. D Plus Plan members will receive an audit rate of $200.00. Pro Plan members will receive an audit rate of $150.00. If the system does not automatically quote the audit rate, an adjustment will be made after registration and before the payment is processed.

The course will assist clinicians expand their capabilities for the assessment, classification and management of patients with complaints of low back, related referred pain and functional limitations. Plus, the theory and practical application of MDT for lower extremity MSK disorders is presented. Lectures, patient assessments and practical sessions are utilised to demonstrate the characteristics and management of the syndromes and OTHER subgroups as they present in the lower extremity. Problem solving, reflective learning and clinical reasoning activities are utilised to ensure the participant has a broader knowledge of MDT in the biopsychosocial framework of the musculoskeletal experience. The participants will have the opportunity to discuss and extensively practice the MDT assessment, classification and management process through workshops, discussions, and patient demonstrations. Practical sessions are utilised to develop skills in the application of both self-treatment and clinician procedures.
